The series ends with the same old same old. There is no growth in either the characters or the story. It’s like they killed off most of the main characters and just showed them fighting monsters. The only new character that comes into play is where they are introduced today, but they are used here and there to strengthen the plot. This is one of the biggest spoilers for the season 2 premiere that is going to be airing soon. If you want to know what’s happening after that point don’t go watch it!
If you’re looking for an extraordinary series with a great plot and amazing features, then Seven Deadly Sins is it. But if you’re looking for something more like “S1-S3,” then it’s not good enough. It feels like someone was left out of the mix in favor of something more Son of cellin’ and Jotun.
